We have built
our business on helping clients improve productivity by improving the skill and
will of those who work for them.
A leap
forward occurs when the organisation moves from the mandatory behaviour people
need to produce to keep their jobs to the discretionary behaviour they deliver
when they feel truly motivated to behave like people who "own the business". Our
approach has the following characteristics:

Team
In order to
survive, organisations have had to drastically flatten their management
structures. This change has required management to broaden spans of contact, and
delegate more to groups. At their best, teams working collaboratively can often
achieve a better result than someone working alone. At their worst, no one is
accountable and very little gets done. The problem is that grouping individuals
together doesn't make a team. Developing team focus performance is more complex
than motivating an individual.
We have
invested heavily in resources to assist team development. We use a range of
instruments, exercises and activities that assist teams in bench marking their
performance and modelling high performance. We also transfer the skills on how
to build and lead teams for organisations who use them widely in their
operation.
Some of the solutions we offer
are:
·
Team
performance development
·
Interventions for underperforming teams
·
Team
communication processes
·
Team
problem solving and innovation
·
Team

Leadership
What
constitutes effective leadership has been the subject of timeless study and
continues to be a growth industry. What we do know is that organisational
leadership is directly responsible for business success.
The approach
we take is that every manager at every level has a non negotiable leadership
responsibility and that every individual at every level leads (at least
themselves) in decision making, determining team motivation, influencing others
and producing results. Anyone who has experienced family life, been a part of a
social or task group, already knows a great deal about leadership, about what
works and what does not work, about why some people respond well to the demands
of others and why some do not.
The really
interesting thing that our life experience tells us then is that most of the
theory is common sense. But how do you turn common sense into common practice?
Training, is the answer! Training that follows logic and common sense, examining
theory and applying it in a practical way.
Our trainers
are all very experienced corporate leaders, STAR group officers or SAS
commandos, and have a depth of practical knowledge as well as psychological
insight to help with the leadership development challenge.
The leadership solutions we
provide include:
·
Developing
executive and middle management leadership skills through training
·
Success in
assessment, planning and coaching
·
Leadership
focus activities to drive specific culture change
The
presentation will take approximately 4 hours to conduct followed by a number of
team building/leadership reaction exercises that will take 2-3 hours to conduct.
As you can
appreciate the presentation does not go into the topics covered in depth as they
are very complex areas.
